Students & Grads

Oh, the fall! How can anyone not love it? With its magical autumn weather, beautiful sunsets, and lovely landscapes all around. It’s also a time to start planning ahead, thinking about the future, about the next moves, paths, and steps we’ll take to wrap up the year and start the next one where we want to be.

We know, we know. We talk A LOT about our interns and you’ve probably read Kyle’s words on “The power of appreciation” or Judith’s input on how she’s building her career path.

But to be fair, who wouldn’t want to continuously talk about them?

We happen to have some of the coolest, most hard-working, skillful and independent interns from all levels and organizations within HP. Our interns are working on amazing projects while building their career paths throughout their time in HP’s Internship program.

And if you don’t believe our word, you can definitely take their’s:

Sirine graduated from ISCAE (Hight Institute of Commerce and Business Administration) in Morocco and Nanjing Audit University in China and has a Master’s degree in Audit and Management Control. This is her story as a Start2Grow Program Graduate.

Our Start2Grow Graduate Program aims to develop the HP leaders of tomorrow by providing focused sales curriculum while committing to support graduates in creating meaningful, long-term careers where they can continuously tackle new challenges and relish various business experiences.

Fresh thinking, diversity of backgrounds and beliefs are key to help us pioneer Printing and Computing worldwide and innovate continuously.

Thabiso Padi is a Big Data Analyst for the Africa Enterprise Solutions team in Johannesburg, who joined HP as a Start2Grow Graduate in 2017.

He shared with us a few insights on the program, life at HP and the lessons learned so far:

Contributed by Kyle Schamberger, HR MAP.  I recently returned to work full-time as an HR Management Associate after spending last summer being a MAP intern.

The HR Management Associate Program

The MAP is a program comprised of 3 rotations in various Human Resources (HR) disciplines and 2 more in a business area outside of HR. I worked on a project within HP’s Talent & Learning organization, which handles everything from instructional learning design and management of our HP Brain Candy social learning platform to talent and performance management.
