Martin describes his lifelong efforts to amplify representation for Hispanic and Latino communities.

Like many Hispanic and Latino families, mine had a big European influence. My grandparents left Germany in late 1938 and were among the few fortunate Jewish families welcomed in Argentina, a country that like many other South American countries, was a refuge for Jewish families fleeing World War II.
I was born, raised, and educated in Buenos Aires, learning since childhood how to live through and overcome the challenges of belonging to a minority. I can remember not being excused for being absent at school due to Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year celebration, while my friends were excused for their important Catholic celebrations.
Technology and innovation take a huge part in how I experience my work on a daily basis.
Working in a global team at HP I get to connect every day with people that are miles away from me, thanks to the tools that engineers built in the past and continue to improve every day.
For the past few months, I’ve been lucky enough to connect with Engineers at HP who are building the newest, most amazing pieces of technology and applying it to make the most out of our human experiences and needs.
And the most exciting part of my job is being able to tell their stories, while learning how they create products that improve life for everyone, everywhere.

“Every day feels like I’m kind of exploring new areas and pushing and challenging myself instead of feeling as though I’m working with people who are just dictating what I should be doing. It really creates this environment for thinking about new ideas and working collaboratively with other teams.”
She checks the balance sheets. She makes pasta. She even remembers to feed the dog.
